If you're looking for a cheap rifle scope there's some things you should consider before you purchase one.  Often times in the scope world optics quality and price go hand in hand leaving you out in the cold without any choices for a quality scope that will fit your needs, but that just doesn't always hold true.

Bushnell has created a scope for those who are price conscious and still want the best, the Elite 3200.  This scope blends the precision optics Bushnell is known for with a budget most people can work with.  While it's not perfect it does have an impressive array of features that will make most hunters quiver in their boots.

The first thing that impresses you about the Bushnell Elite 3200 is the quality of the optics, even in low light conditions you still have a chance at that crucial shot that could mean the difference between coming home empty handed and bringing that big buck in.

The next thing that will leave a lasting impression is the fact that these scopes are built tough.  To prove how tough they are Bushnell recoil tests them for 1,000 rounds of .375 H&H a popular African Safari round, that would literally beat your arm to a pulp if you shot them all straight through.

As if those two things aren't enough you'll find their Rainguard coating to be a revelation in rainy or wet conditions.

Anyways sorry to get off on a tangent there, I just really like these Bushnell scopes and I think you'll find that they blend in the functionality and pricing that you require when looking for a cheap rifle scope.

If those are still out of your price range there's still several other things you could do when looking for cheap rifle scopes.  The first is to buy used through an auction website, like eBay or the Gun broker.  You could also look on craigslist for a used scope or slightly owned, sometimes you'll find a real deal...

Another option is to talk to your local gun stores, often times if you let them know you need a scope but can't afford one of the top of the line ones, one of their workers may need to off load their scope to appease the Misses.

If all of these options fail you could try to raise some additional money to pay for the scope by selling of stuff you don't use anymore.

I hope this article has helped you find a way to get a cheap rifle scope, happy hunting!
